The Destination Edinburgh Marketing Alliance (DEMA) a public/private body set up to lead and facilitate the promotion of Edinburgh to an international audience. Central to this is the "Edinburgh: Inspiring Capital" brand and gateway website. Occupancy Marketing is very proud to have helped the organisation since 2008 in the promotion of the Inspiring Capital website, as well as several smaller campaign sites used to attract tourists, business investors, prospective students or anyone planning to visit or move to the city.
This is a complex project with multiple stakeholders involved, and a central element to our online marketing approach has been to ensure that all online activity works in a way that best complements the overall goals of the brand. Over the past few years we have helped to establish the brand website in search, and to build a presence on social media websites, resulting in increased exposure for the Edinburgh brand.
