Starhotels is a luxury hotel group with 20 Hotels in Italy, 1 in Paris and 1 in New York. Starhotels has 5 luxury properties marketed as the Collezione in NY, Milan, Venice, Paris and Trieste. The remaining 17 Hotels in Italy are all 4 star quality.

After an initial trial period where strong results were achieved through the optimisation of the Google Places listings and paid search ROI, Occupancy Marketing has also assisted Starhotels on the development of a new group web site. We assisted the client in the entire process, including recommendations on suitable design agency vendors, appropriate content management systems for the back end, Analytics tracking consultancy and recommendations on the web site build and set-up (i.e. hosting location). In addition to consultancy, Occupancy Marketing was tasked with optimising content in English and Italian.

The results have been strong since Occupancy Marketing engaged with Starhotels. Online revenue increased by 51% and revenue from paid search activity rose by 109%. The conversion rate of the new web site to bookings has improved by 40% year on year.
